Waters in the Wilderness
Scripture and Spanish Guitar
“I have called the heavens and the earth as witness today against you: I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Therefore you shall choose life, so that you live, both you and your seed”.
(See Debarim/Dueteronomy 30:15-20)
Yahushua came into the world to destroy the works of Satan. He did this by giving His life to pay the death penalty, and to break the curse, incurred by our sins. As Yahushua was innocent, death could not detain Him and He rose again to life. He broke the power of sin and death for all who choose to step out of the kingdom of darkness into life, and to follow Him as their Mashiach/Messiah.
When devout Yahudim heard Kepha speaking about Yahushua, their hearts were pierced and they asked what they should do in order to be saved. Kepha replied, “Repent, and let each one of you be immersed (in water) in the Name of Yahushua Mashiach for the forgiveness of sins. And you shall receive the gift of the Ruach Ha Qodesh (the Set-Apart Spirit).” Acts 2:38
Prayer of repentance: Father, I have sinned by not obeying Your Torah. I am sorry, please forgive me and help me to lead a life worthy of You. Yahushua, I acknowledge that You are The Messiah, the Son of Elohim. Thank You for loving me, even to dying in my place and suffering all my punishment and shame! (See Yohanan/John 6:47).
